Why Learn To Sing Holidays
Eleanor Madoc Davies was brought up in the traditional Welsh way, taking part in the chapel anniversary and local village Eisteddfod, winning her first prize at the age of 3. From this humble beginning she performed in school, college and concert party until more recently she sang the role of Queen of the Night from "THE MAGIC FLUTE" by Mozart, to name but one of many operatic roles also performing Soprano Arias in many oratorios as guest soloist.

Eleanor has always enjoyed passing on her Knowledge and recently retired
from the post of Head of Music in a local comprehensive school. She now
conducts a youth choir on a regular basis and is guest conductor of the
Builth Male Voice Choir. She is building up a reputation as Britain's
country hostess with the knowledge and expertise to coach, advise and
encourage singers of any age who seek help. Her knowledge has been acquired
by the training she received from some of Britain's finest teachers of
singing.

In 2001 Eleanor received a MA degree from the University of Wales when she studied The Training of the Young Soprano Voice and performed a song recital lasting one hour, singing in five different languages
